About Penny Randell

Penny Randell is an international journalist and humanitarian who considers Uganda her second home. Having lived in the capital city of Kampala for 2 1/2 years and having returned many times over the past 13 years, she has developed a remarkable insight into Africa and its place on the world stage.  Her extensive travels have included over 40 countries. She produced an award-winning 4-part radio series, The War in Northern Uganda in 2006 and is founder of the Skylor Self-Help Foundation for the women and children of Uganda.
